Communication and Nurture Committee
Website Newsletter Technology Members Responsibilities
The Communication and Nurture Committee of Presbytery works with people and programs to provide printed and on-line communication, community building, and leadership development among pastors, elders, congregations, and the presbytery.
Our current projects include working to expand the Presbytery web site, publish a quarterly newsletter, and maintain a referral source for technical projects such as using multimedia in worship.
Website
We currently have one web site with two domain names: www.eastminsterpresbytery.org and www.faithfulness.com, (the version of the eastminsterpresbytery name ending in .com is no longer used)
The web site currently is “in house” designed primarily for the needs and ease of use of those active and involved in Eastminster Presbytery. The committee is considering using the “faithfulness.com” name as an outreach web site for those seeking a Presbyterian congregation in the area or those new to the Presbyterian Church.
Evangel Newsletter
The Presbytery Newsletter is published electronically quarterly focusing on various themes. Congregations are asked to get their copy from the web site or via email and make copies of the one sheet bulletin formatted newsletter for insertion into their bulletins or newsletter.
All articles in the newsletter should be “lifting up” and should answer the question “why is it great to be a part of Eastminster Presbytery?"
