Personnel Committee
Members:
6
members: An equal number of Clergy/Lay, Women/Men. A moderator
is elected by the Commission from among the members. Experience
in personnel administration is helpful.
Responsibilities:
To have responsibilities similar to Presbytery's current Personnel
Committee, including:

Review and evaluate work and job description of General Presbyter

Review with General Presbyter office operations

Recommend to Presbytery changes to compensation and job description
of Presbytery employees

Oversee the work of the Administrative Assistant and Financial
and Clerical Assistant, including hiring, periodic performance
reviews, recommending terms of employment to the Presbytery, and
(if necessary), separation from employment.

Hire contract employees and consultants as needed, for a period
not to exceed one year and facilitate the separation from employment
by Eastminster Presbytery, if necessary.

Recommend to Presbytery any extension of contract employees employment
beyond one year.
