Presbytery Meeting Coordinating Council

Members:

6 members: A moderator is elected by the council from among the council members.  The Stated Clerk and General Presbyter are to serve as ex-officio members.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate reports going to Presbytery
• Responsible for Presbytery Meeting docket
• Responsible for Presbytery Worship (can be a separate Resource Group)
• Nominate members of Nominating Committee and appoint moderator of that committee
• Appoint any needed "Special Investigating Committee"
• Present Overtures for Presbytery action
• To meet prior to each Presbytery Meeting to set the docket, approve distribution of papers and all other matters concerning those meetings.
